The poetry collection Kisses and Words is the debut work of artist, painter and poet Nina Stopar, in which the poet wanders through a range of intimate feelings, from dewy flirtations with love to erotic expressions of passion. The label women’s poetry would not be superfluous, but this is undoubtedly a book where every woman, perhaps even a man, can find herself. The book is an explosion of the sensual, not only in words, where the poet expresses the hedonism of the sensual through sophisticated metaphors, but also in colour, as it is equipped with details from the author’s painting oeuvre.
